With different blockchains designed for different purposes, we realised that we needed a specific blockchain to meet our criteria and be independent of other current, multipurpose slow, expensive blockchains. We have summarized below some of the Agate blockchain capabilities: high speed, very low transaction fees, scalability , smart contract, decentralised, mining, secure, token generator engine, block explorer.
One of the most interesting elements of Agate is the Agate iFiat Ecosystem. It uses decentralised blockchain technology (Agate blockchain) to resolve many of the fundamental issues in the cryptoeconomy, which will facilitate transactions very economically and in real-time.
In Agate’s user app, users can deposit five crypto assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Ripple. Up to 17 cryptocurrencies are in the development phase and are expected to be released in Q4 2018.
Traditional POS terminals are expensive in rental and fees, and we believe the Agate merchant application and Agate POS terminal are the ultimate solution for all of these problems. Currently the Agate POS terminal is available in two types, for mobile users and for physical stores, and both come with unique features.
Agate Gateway API, which is an open-source API and available in GitHub, will let anyone create his or her own payment gateway within the Agate iFiat Ecosystem and run on Agate blockchain.
The comprehensive and defined API Suite has been designed to not only work as another income generation stream for Agate coin and token holders but also to let anyone use Agate as a white-label solution to acquire more customers.

PROS:

  1. The platform through its element Agate iFiat ecosystem facilitates faster  transactions  making the platform use very economical
  2. The platform has  a well developed mobile application supported by Android and IOS which is readily available in the Google stores enabling the users to easily deposit  a number of cryptocurrency at their convenience
  3. The platform through the use of Agate blockchain  ensures that the users don’t  incur higher costs in making transactions  with no involvement of intermediaries
  4. The platform use is highly eco-friendly as it adopts the Point of Sale (POS) mining  which has the lowest impact on the environment as compared to  Point of Work (POW)
  5. The platform supports a variety of  the most important cryptocurrencies  with the number intended to increase up to seventeen  enabling the users to make the easiest choice  to transact via the platform
  6. The platform whitepaper is fully elaborate and available in different languages ensuring that the users deeply understand the applications of the project
  7. The platform has a good team on board  with adequate skills and experience  in  tech  and business relevant to the for the easy  implementation of the project

CONS:

  1. The  amount raised by the AGT tokens during the initial stages is not  secured which can lead to losses

  1. The platform tokens should be made compatible with fiat as compared to the commonly used cryptocurrencies
